Login

Login to the system by entering the user name and password you received in the welcome email.

If you check the “Remember me” box, you will not need to login again on that computer, but will be brought directly to the “Quiz Administration” when entering the online module. It is not advisable to check this box on a public computer, such as a library computer.

Problems with login

If you have forgotten your user name and password and would like to have them e-mailed to you, you can use the “Forget your password?” link to retrieve it.

Enter your email in the provided box and the system will check for an account with this address and send you an e-mail with your user name and password, or notify you if no such account exists.

Please note that this action will reset your password to a set of random letters and numbers, once you receive your e-mail with this password, you can change your username and password. To do so, login with the computer-assigned password, then click on "Update Personal Information" to reach the form where you can set your own username and password.

Quiz Administration

The “Quiz Administration” is where you manage all your activities in the system. The following activities can be performed from this interface:

Navigate within the system

After login in, you can navigate the system through the “breadcrumb” links trail at the top of the page.

Each page you visit will be added to the trail and clicking on it will bring you back to that page.

Update personal information

Click on the “Update Personal Information” link to change your name, user name, email or password.

Take an Exam

Each exam has an effective date; you will not be able to access an exam after the end date.

Click on the exam name to start the exam. An exam can include the following question types:

While taking the exam you have the options to save a draft or to review the exam before submission.

Save Draft

You can start an exam and continue it later, all your answers will be saved and once you enter the test again they will be filled. You can access your exam from any computer, not just the one you saved your draft on. Note: you can’t access an exam after the end date even if you saved a draft and haven’t submitted it yet.

Submit an exam

Once you finish an exam, click on the “Review before submitting” button. This will take you to an interface that shows the all the questions in the exam and your answers.

Questions you filled will be marked next to the answer you chose with an arrow and the answer will be colored in blue.

Questions you didn’t fill will be colored in red and you will see a warning sign next to it.

From this interface you can go back to change your answers or to submit the exam.

Once you submit an exam you will not be able to access the exam and resubmit it.

Virtual Keyboard

You can use the “virtual keyboard” button to write Hebrew if you can’t use Hebrew in your computer keyboard.

Click on the “Virtual keyboard” button to open the virtual keyboard and click the same button again to close it.

To use the virtual keyboard follow these guidelines: locate the cursor in the box you want. To write, click the letters you need in the “Virtual Keyboard” and they will be written in the box you are in. Repeat for each box you need to write in.

Confirmation

After submitting an exam you will see a confirmation page, and an email will be sent to you confirming your successful submission, save this confirmation for later reference.

Review an exam

After the exam is closed to further submissions (after the end date), you will be able to see it with the right answers marked.

Click on the Confirmation number link to enter the exam. The confirmation number becomes a link only after the exam is closed and only if you took the exam.

• A question answered correctly will be marked with a correct sign and colored blue.
• A question answered incorrectly will be marked with and X sign and colored red. The correct answer will be marked with a correct sign and colored blue.
• A question not filled will be colored red.

Take an exercise

Each exercise has an effective date; you will not be able to access an exercise after the end date.

Click on the exercise name to start the exercise.

You can check your answer for each question by clicking on the “check” button next to it.

You can check your finished exercise by clicking on the “Check Exercise” button.

After clicking on the “Check Exercise” button, your answers are saved in the system and you can view them from any computer, to delete them completely click on the “start over” button.

The results of an exercise are not saved or sent to the instructor. If you decide to take the exercise again, the former results will be deleted.
